Many families inquire about open enrolling to Fairview. Fairview is hosting a number of upcoming events for parents to learn more about the school and the educational experience we provide. These include: Showcase Night — Nov 30, Breakfast with the Principal — Dec 2, 9, Fairview Experience Tour (for incoming Freshmen), and Parent Tours. Solar Panels for Fairview
Dear Fairview Community,
We have been given an excellent opportunity to win solar panels for Fairview (we are competing with 6 other schools) and get $3000 for the FPO. All we have to do for the $3000 is have 150 people commit to energy savings at their homes. The CRC is giving away 2 solar arrays in a competition involving 13 St. Vrain and BVSD schools. We are competing in a pool with 6 other schools. We need your help! All it will take is 10 minutes of your time! We believe that if we reach our goal of getting 600 households to fill out the form, that we will put ourselves in a perfect position to win the solar panels. We can not do this without everyone's help.

All you have to do is to commit to turning off lights when not in use, unplugging chargers, removing dryer lint before drying, taking shorter showers and the like. We will get credit for whatever you commit to. You can do everything or just a couple of things, it all helps Fairview. The form is not clear so:

1. Click on the link below, ignore the download information and scroll down until you see "school", select Fairview

http://www.renewourschoolsenergycenter.com/default.asp?PageID=193

2. In "Other Affiliation" write FPO

Fill out the rest of the form, commiting to whatever you want. YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMMIT TO EVERYTHING! Just one thing helps Fairview! The more you do, the more points we earn. Thank you for your help. Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested in Fairview having solar panels!  Go Knights!

Please join us for the first IB Steering Committee meeting of the 2011-12 school year.  Meetings are always the second Tuesday of each month.
